An Export Pewter Soup Plate by Townsend & Compton

An English Export Pewter Soup Plate by Townsend and Compton, London 1786-1806. This plate has wriggled initials “AG” on the back of the plate above the touches. The touches are beautiful examples that are very well struck. The plate has some areas of etching to the surface.

This plate measures 8 1/8” in diameter.
