An Assembled Set of Five Whitfield Fry Pans

This assembled set of five fry pans is an excellent example of a sizes 0 through 4 by Whitfield. This maker likely from England, made a wide variety of sizes of these pans. Examples as small 0000 to as large as 9 are known. Assembling a grouping like this is difficult

Sometimes the larger sizes are found on three legs. This maker also made long handled varieties.

The handles are wrought with bevel edges and the pans are formed from sheet iron. The handles are riveted to the pan. Note that the handles still retains some of the "heat bluing" from the manufacturing process.

Size 0 is 17 7/8" long with a 8 1/4" diam. pan
Size 1 is 18 5/8" long with a 8 7/8" diam. pan
Size 2 is 20 1/8" long with a 9 5/8" diam. pan
Size 3 is 21 5/8" long with a 10 1/8" diam. pan
Size 4 is 21 7/8" long with a 10 5/8" diam. pan.

All are in very good plus condition several are fine. Price is for the set. All are signed and numbered.
