A Civil War Carbine Bore Brush
The Civil War is a prime example of Government overspending. Of course this comes from the notion that it is better to have too many supplies than not enough. As result of this, the Civil War produced substantial amounts of surplus items that were sold off after the War or when they became obsolete.
This carbine bore brush with leather thong is one such example. In unissued condition The brush with brass measures 5 3/4" with an overall length of approximately 30".
Price: $48
