An Unmarked American Pewter Whale Oil Lamp - SOLD

This pewter American Whale Oil lamp is typical of lamps produced circa 1830-50 during the height of the American Whaling Era.

The lamp retains its original whale oil burner and measures 5" tall to the top of the burner. It is in fine condition. It has a urn shaped font and a simple trumpet shaped base.
