An Aaron C. Fuller Whale Oil Lamp With Unrecorded Touch - SOLD

Aaron Chauncey Fuller and a Mr. Smith had a partnership in New London producing lamps and candlesticks. They were listed as Britannia makers with wares including tea sets etc. They were in business in the 1850's

Only lighting is currently known. This lamp is by Fuller alone. He had another touch in a arc with incised letters nearly identical to the partnership touch. The touch on this lamp is somewhat crude.

The lamp is in very good condition and measures 6 7/8"tall. The only example of this touch we have seen.
