An Antique American Pewter Whale Oil Lamp by Smith & Co - SOLD

This attractive whale oil lamp was made by Smith & Co a firm working in Boston circa 1842 to 1849. They made lamps and teapots.

Lamps of various designs are known bearing this touchmark.

The lamp is in near fine condition and measures 7 3/4" tall to the top of the burner.
