An Antique Pewter True Gimbal Lamp - SOLD

Many collectors confuse a swivel lamp with a gimbal lamp,a swivel lamp swings in only one plane, however a true gimbal lamp is designed so the font remains level no matter what angle the base is on.

This lamp is in fine condition with the burner retaining the extinguishing caps.

It measures 5 1/4" tall to the top of the burner and has a base
diameter of 4 3/4".
