A Pair of Pewter Candlesticks by Roswell Gleason - SOLD

A pair of Roswell Gleason pewter candlesticks. This variety has a shaft design know as hose nozzle design as it resembles vintage hose nozzles that were frequently made of brass. Gleason worked in Dorchester, MA from 1821-71, This pair would date 1830’s to 50’s.

This pair is in fine condition and retain their original bobeches. The sticks are clearly marked on the underside of the base. They measure 8 ½”“ tall.
